West Alabama House Seat Election Next Tuesday

District 16 covers parts of Fayette, Jefferson, and Tuscaloosa counties

As Fix already detailed, Northport lawyer Bryan Brinyark won the Republican designation with 1,706 votes or 53%, compared to 1,519 votes cast for Fayette County Commissioner and Republican candidate Brad Cox within the October GOP Essential runoff.

Brinyark's most grounded turnout within the runoff came in his native Tuscaloosa Province, where he snatched 926 votes, which outpaced the whole number of votes cast within the Republican Essential in September (845).

Brinyark will confront off against Equitable chosen one and Fayette Province Commissioner John Underwood within the common race, after Underwood secured the Majority rule assignment without having any competition on the essential poll in September.
